US$6,500 1956 Hammond B3 Organ c/w 122 Leslie and Bench in Grimsby, Ontario for sale

A 1956 Hammond B3 organ. This organ spent most of it's life in a Church. I acquired it 3 yrs ago and it has been in climate controlled storage ever since. I had a Hammond tech go through it when I acquired it. It was in attractive shape then, and has been regularly maintained by this same tech for decades. A TrekII preamp was installed prior to my acquiring the organ. This is a popular upgrade to the B3's and is considered a quality and reliablility improvement.. The 122 Leslie that comes with it is not original to this organ but it is in excellent shape. The bench is not original either and neither is the bench. I had the Hammond tech install the proper interface for the organ to the Leslie 122 just recently and everything works as it should. It sounds amazing!Unfortunately I am not an organ player and my daughter has no interest in learning, so it is time to let it go to someone who appreciates this magnificent instrument.The finish on the Leslie 122 is original and in attractive shape and reflects the patina of age. The finish on the B3 has some scratches and a couple of marks on the fall board from flower pots. Scuffs from vacuum cleaners are found on the pedal board. It is not perfect, but still be perfectly acceptable for most living rooms. The bottom fallboard has been removed and is missing. I wouldn't refinish it, just leave it as is. It is a vintage piece after all.I will not ship, but I can help load. We are in Beamsville, Ontario Canada. US buyers, do not let this deter you. We are just twenty minute over the US boarder from Niagara falls. it would be worth the trip to pick up this magnificent piece of musical history and you could enjoy the falls and wine country while you are here.
